An inspiring Lunch & Learn at Alper JCC Miami featuried Stories of the Holocaust: Art for Healing and Renewal. This powerful program explored how art serves as a pathway to healing, reflection, and resilience in the aftermath of history’s most difficult moments.

Moderated by Dr. Gail Humphries, coeditor of Stories of the Holocaust, the discussion featured distinguished panelists and contributing authors Carolyn Dorfman, Ruth Gordon, and Mindy Weisel. Together, they examined the transformative role of creative expression in recovering from trauma and preserving memory. The program also included a special musical theatre performance by Jessi Kaplan of the University of Miami.
